Local vision for worship...

A Night of Worshipfire

This is an alternative worship event, where all aspects of worship are brought as an act of altar worship to the King of Kings.

This is not a new way, but we are focused on reviving the Heart of worship in all its wonderful diversity and flowing in the streams that pour from the throne of grace.

I see all aspects of the arts coming together in every cultural stream (e.g. music, painting, dance, drama, poetry, banners, in fact every possible creative expression.

There is a bigger picture to ponder on for each and every one of us.

This is how I have envisioned it:

Someone leads and begins to freely worship in the Holy Spirit, which prompts another maybe through dance, art and such to interpret how the Holy Spirit is leading. This would in turn light more fires in those present until the worship spreads all around like a fire. Burning gently, bringing comfort, peace and intimacy. Burning brightly and fiercely bringing a heart of intercession, praise and prophecy.

The Holy Spirit is often described in the nature of a wind or a movement of air. The Father speaks the words and through the name of Jesus the Holy Spirit takes and creates from the living word. He brings the word to life through a demonstration of power.

A time of prayer, releasing of burdens and chains from the creativity that has been crushed and oppressed, a time to increase the flow of living in a created environment for His glory. To create an atmosphere that will bring the presence of God, the Holy Spirit to hover over our gatherings, a collection of multi coloured lights of Jesus Christ being woven into the fabric of praise and worship to the King of Kings.
